Running and animals. Two of the best things in the world are going to be united in Chicago during the Brookfield Zoo’s Annual Zoo Run Run for Animal Care and Conservation Fund! Register for the race, form a team, and come out to Brookfield Zoo on September 21, 2014 to save the animals!
The event aims to bring awareness to the endangered species around the world and support the race for survival. Money raised by the event will go towards the Chicago Zoological Society Animal Care and Conservation Fund. Race day features three incredibly fun different racing events, all contained within Brookfield’s Zoo beautiful 216-acre nature walk! The three racing events include: the 5K Chip-Timed Race, the 5K Fun Run, and the 5K Fun Walk.
Top fundraisers are eligible to win various prizes, including a long-sleeve race t-shirt, a Brookfield Zoo gift certificate, plus tickets to various Brookfield Zoo events. The Zoo Run Run is sure to be one of the most exciting races of the season!
