The Boulevard Music and Arts Festival in Logan Square will take place on August 22nd through August 24th this year.
The three-year-old 2014 fest is expecting a good crowd and big-name headliners which include Dean Ween Group, Michigan based Americana act Greensky Bluegrass, Chicago’s own edgy dance rockers Digital Tape Machine and the Chicago funk band Main Squeeze.
The entertainment is hosted on two eclectic stages featuring bands of all musical types: Indie rock, bluegrass, funk and live band electronic music.
Brought to you by Chicago’s favorite independent promoters, Silver Wrapper, the festival will also host two eclectic after show parties. Greensky Bluegrass plays at Concord Music Hall on Friday, August 22nd. Advance tickets are on sale now for $17. Conspirator with special guest Dexterous Roy will take the second show at the same venue on Saturday, August 23rd. Advance tickets are on sale now for $10.
While you’re there, make sure to check out the craft beers from local breweries that aren’t typically offered at small festivals. Logan Square’s top restaurants, cafes, bakeries and bistros will also be featured.
Admission to the Boulevard is suggested at a $10 donation, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the St. Luke’s Lutheran Church of Logan Square.
The Boulevard will be held at 3100 W. Logan Blvd.
